Julia Hu is the CEO and founder of LARK—a venture-backed wireless mobile health company that improves what matters to you most in life, through sleep. Designed with top sleep experts, LARK monitors, assesses, and coaches you to better sleep and wakes you silently and refreshed, so you let others sleep undisrupted. Having launched into all Apple stores globally and into Best Buy, LARK has been named one of Fast Company’s Top 10 Most Innovative Consumer Electronics companies in the world, and has been chosen as the Official Product of the National Sleep Foundation.

As a serial entrepreneur, Julia has focused on growing early stage startups in the consumer products and cleantech space. Prior to LARK, she was National Sustainability Chair for global startup incubator Clean Tech Open, where she scaled CTO from a local organization to an international one which helps hundreds of cleantech startups. She also ran international marketing in China for consumer products company D.light Design.

Julia received her Masters and Bachelors at Stanford and was half way through her MBA degree at MIT Sloan before she dropped out to start her company. Julia was named Top Woman Entrepreneur Under 40 by Marie Claire, was an EIR at Startx (the Stanford incubator), and has been a keynote speaker and case study in forums like MIT, Stanford, WSJ, CNN, Wired, and Conan O’Brien.
