Dr. Gregory J. Norman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of California, San Diego and a researcher at the Center for Wireless and Population Health Systems at the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2).  

Dr. Norman’s research focuses on health promotion and disease prevention related to physical activity and dietary behavior change.  He is actively involved in the development and evaluation of evidence-based health interventions using interactive mobile and web technologies.  

Dr. Norman has co-authored over 80 peer reviewed publications and his research is supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
